A course picks one style and every frame of its films wears it — the animated lecture, the bookend cards, the Quick Checks and the In-Room overlays drawn over a presenter in their own room. Every sample below is the same ten seconds of the same lecture, rendered by the engine itself.
Template styles
A style is not a colour scheme bolted on at the end — it sets the typefaces, the palette in both light and dark, what the ground does behind the content, the corner radius and stroke weight of every drawn shape, and how fast a line arrives and whether it overshoots when it lands. Every clip below is the same two passages of the same lecture — a dark chapter, then a light one — rendered twenty-six times over. Regalia, Garnet, Vellum and Ledger are one family in maroon and old gold, for an institution with a maroon identity. Sticker, Voltage and Atelier are another — flat colour, thick ink outlines and hard offset shadows — made first for In-Room films, where the presenter stays in their own room and the overlays sit on it. Every style here dresses an In-Room film too, in its own palette, typefaces and corners. Classical and warm. An evening lecture hall: old-style serif headlines, deep navy, amber. The default, and the safest for anything taught as an argument — management, humanities, law, policy.
Technical and exact. Near-black ground under a faint measured grid, a geometric display face with engineered details, cyan and violet. Motion is short and wipes rather than drifts. For engineering, computing, data and the sciences.
Editorial and papery. A printed reader in daylight: high-contrast serif headlines on warm stock, terracotta and olive, wide margins. For literature, languages, history, philosophy and the social sciences.
Loud and graphic. Heavy grotesque set large, flat blocks of colour that slide rather than fade, magenta against electric yellow. Fast cuts. For business, marketing, entrepreneurship and anything that has to sell an idea before it explains it.
Quiet and precise. White ground, one restrained blue, hairline rules and almost no decoration; the type does the work and nothing moves that does not have to. For medicine, law, finance, compliance and anything where the material is already heavy.
Collegiate and warm. Deep maroon and old gold, the colours of a university crest, with a clean geometric headline face over a humanist text face. The base style for an institution that already dresses its books in maroon, and safe for anything taught as an argument — management, humanities, research, policy.

Airy near-white, cream and pale lime slides; a clean geometric sans with the key words of each headline in violet on a pale lavender bar; pastel cards in lavender, lime, peach and pink with generous rounding; violet circle badges; and soft pastel quarter-circles tucked into the corners. Clean white slides with a bold orange chapter now and then, a friendly geometric sans with the key words of each headline in orange, orange and yellow speech-bubble tags above every title, solid orange, yellow and soft grey cards on gentle shadows, orange number tiles and active list rows, and large soft shapes at the edge of the page. For marketing, communication, business, entrepreneurship and any course that should feel upbeat, practical and engaging.
Loud and friendly, like a creator’s explainer channel. Calm and airy, with a nature-tech feel: lots of off-white space, near-black green type, moss and lime-olive stat tickets, and deep navy and periwinkle landscape tones with small apricot and dusty-rose accents. Light, open and energetic: sky-blue gradients from pale to deep, white frosted cards with thin white borders, charcoal cards for contrast and a coral-orange accent for key words. Headlines are set in a light grotesk in sentence case, shapes are very round with soft shadows, and elements rise gently into place. Suits sports science, physiotherapy, languages, psychology, wellness and nursing courses.
Deep navy-violet night with a violet-to-lavender glow, lime pill buttons, an orange round icon accent and bold monospace caps headlines over a clean sans body. Large rounded panels with soft shadows sit on a starfield, and elements wipe in like a terminal. Suits computer science, cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, AI and data engineering courses.

Warm studio grey and pure white, black headlines in a wide, heavy caps face, and one iridescent sweep of acid lime, sunlight yellow and soft pink, with a single orange spark.
